A Calming, Hands On Experience for All
Pottery has a gentle way of slowing things down. It’s hands on, a little nostalgic and quite relaxing. Our workshops are beginner friendly, no clay experience is needed. Each person will create their own ceramic piece(s) using the traditional slab building technique. You’ll be guided step by step through the process, from forming the shape to adding any details you like. Some people like to keep it plain and simple, others get playful with their design. It’s entirely up to you.
After the session, we glaze and fire your piece(s) for you. The finished pieces are functional and personal, with a timeless white glaze that is food safe, microwave and dishwasher friendly. For longevity, we recommend hand washing.

Your workshop will be led by Fiona the heart and soul behind Mabel Vickers and maker behind Table Ceramics. All materials are provided, including clay, tools and guidance, so all you need to bring is your group and your festive spirit.

We welcome group bookings of 6 to 18 people, making our pottery studio the perfect Christmas party event for smaller work teams, social clubs or friend groups looking for something different this festive season. Sessions are available on weekdays, evenings or weekends to suit your schedule.
