Bring your team together

Our beginner friendly pottery workshops are a relaxed way to spend time together, make something by hand and enjoy a few hours away from the office. No experience is needed. We'll guide you step by step and take care of the glazing and firing afterwards.

It's a chance to step away from screens and the usual workday, enjoy some chatter and a few laughs and spend some time making together. Everyone makes their own piece to take home once it's ready.

Private group pottery workshops are available in our Palmerston North studio for 6 to 18 people. Smaller groups are welcome, with a minimum booking fee equivalent to six participants. For example, a group of four making mugs would pay $570.

Your group has the studio to yourselves for the workshop.

A few things to know

Everything you need is provided, including clay, tools, materials and aprons. The workshops use simple hand building techniques, no pottery wheel. 

You can bring along drinks, nibbles, a platter or birthday treats to enjoy during the workshop. 

Your pottery isn't ready to take home on the day. It needs to dry, be bisque fired, glazed and glaze fired before it's ready to use. Please allow at least 8 weeks to collect.

For larger groups, allow a little extra time, sometimes a larger group may take half an hour extra.
