Get your faves together and enjoy a fun filled mug making workshop!

Saturday 19 October / 2pm to 5pm

In this pottery class by Fiona from Table Ceramics you will each make a mug using hand building techniques plus get creative with your handle and detailing.

Everything is provided.

Beginners welcome, no clay experience is necessary. You will be guided through the mug making process from start to finish.

We prep and fire your pieces for you and the glaze is a food safe white glaze. Your mug is suitable for microwave and dishwasher use. While it is dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing to minimise any potential dishwasher damage.

Class Policy

Due to planning we are unable to offer any refunds or class swaps for change of mind or inability to make the class.

Please check your own availability before booking as spaces for our classes are limited numbers.

General Information

All materials, tools, clay and firings are included for our workshops.

Children 12 years and up are able to attend classes, but a seperate ticket must be purchased for them as well.

Please check your junk folder as often you will find our confirmation and communication emails go there.

Nails + Jewellery

Long nails often mark the clay so I recommend trimming. If you would prefer not to it will mean you just have to do a bit more tidying up.

Clay gets into rings, bracelets and on bangles so I recommend removing these to save you cleaning them after your pottery class.

Pick Up + Delivery

Firings take up to eight weeks. You'll receive an email as soon as your work is ready to collect.

If you are out of town please include shipping at checkout.

Additional Pieces

As you are creating you trim off excess clay that some people use to make other pieces with. This is absolutely fine. If you would like to keep them I am happy to fire and glaze these for you on a firing costs basis.

Firing costs are bisque (first firing) $18/kilo and glaze $26/kilo. An example of possible cost is a small dish that weighs 200 grams would cost $8.80.
