• GROUP WORKSHOPS.

  • Group pottery workshops are great for social clubs, team building, Christmas functions, corporate events, hen's party children's birthday or a get together with family and friends.

  • Come and have some fun with clay! Our pottery studio is in central Palmerston North where you can have a group pottery workshop on a day and time that suits everyone.  This can be weekdays, evenings, weekends.

  • We cater for groups of 6 to 18. No clay experience is necessary. Each person creates their ceramic piece using hand building techniques.

    Pick up + Delivery

    We prep and fire your pieces for you and the glaze is our food safe house white glaze. 

    Your pieces will be ready in a minimum of eight weeks. You'll receive an email as soon as your work is ready to collect.

    We can also arrange shipping as required.

    Additional pieces

    As you are creating you trim off excess clay that some people use to make other pieces with. This is absolutely fine. If you would like to keep them I am happy to fire and glaze these for you on a firing costs basis.

    Firing costs are bisque (first firing) $18/kilo and glaze $26/kilo. An example of possible cost is a small dish that weighs 200 grams would cost $8.80.

    Nails + Jewellery

    Long nails often mark the clay so I recommend trimming. If you would prefer not to it will mean you just have to do a bit more tidying up.

    Clay gets into rings, bracelets and on bangles so I recommend removing these to save you cleaning them after your pottery class.

    Pottery care

    Your pottery is suitable for microwave and dishwasher use. While it is dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing to minimise any potential dishwasher damage.
