Pottery Classes // 8 Weeks / Term 4
Pottery Classes // 8 Weeks / Term 4
For eight lovely weeks, you’ll slow down, get your hands in the clay and enjoy the calming rhythm of hand building.
Led by Fiona of Table Ceramics, this beginner friendly course invites you to explore the three essential techniques of hand built pottery: pinch potting, coiling and slab work. Each of the first three sessions begins with a demonstration, giving you the chance to learn by observing, then experimenting at your own pace and in your own way.
Whether you arrive with an idea in mind or simply a sense of curiosity, you’ll be supported in shaping your own meaningful pieces. Fiona will be there to guide you with thoughtful attention, helping bring your ideas to life.
You'll receive 2 kg of clay to begin with, along with access to tools, glazes and materials. We’ll take care of storage and all firing for you. The cost of firings and more clay is additional.
Beginner friendly and welcoming to all, no experience needed. Just bring your hands and a willingness to try something new. This is a space made for slowing down, reconnecting and discovering the quiet joy of making something with clay.

Nails + Jewellery
Nails + Jewellery
Long nails often mark the clay so I recommend trimming. If you would prefer not to it will mean you just have to do a bit more tidying up.
Clay gets into rings, bracelets and on bangles so I recommend removing these to save you cleaning them after your pottery class.
