Beginner pottery workshops in Palmerston North

Create your own ceramic piece in a relaxed, guided session. No experience needed.

Join us in our Palmerston North studio for a hands on pottery experience where you’ll shape or glaze your own ceramic piece. From platters and dishes to hand painted pieces, each workshop is guided step by step and designed for beginners to enjoy the process and create something uniquely theirs.

Our workshops are about more than clay. We slow down, share stories and let the process unfold, offering a chance to try something new and enjoy time spent making with your hands. Each piece becomes your own, a small, lasting reminder of time well spent.

What you’ll receive

  • Step-by-step guidance throughout the session
  • All tools and materials provided
  • Create your own ceramic piece to keep
  • Pieces dried, fired, and glazed for you
  • A relaxed, beginner-friendly environment

No experience needed. Most people joining are trying pottery for the first time.

What to expect

You’ll be guided through the process using simple tools and techniques, with plenty of support along the way. We keep things unhurried so you can enjoy the experience without pressure, whether you're coming on your own or with friends.
